Not much story to this moc. Another in a series of models I created based on art from Kevoh's concept art gallery at Classic-Space.com.
It's black, it's got a curvy/lumpy shape, and it's got two big engines sticking on the end of appendages. It's alien. And I have a hunch it may be a bad guy.
I think I achieved a pretty organic feel with this one, and there's a lot of different construction techniques going on. There's pretty much studs going in every direction. Tony Hafner once described it as an experiment in texturing, and although that wasn't my intention when building the model it certainly appears true.
I'm planning to continue the theme with more alien models. Although this model was scrapped long ago, expect to see it make a reappearance in a moonbase display. If I told you BrickCon 2008, would you believe me?
